Israel Targets Hezbollah's Alleged Financial Networks

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have uncovered a Hezbollah financial hub beneath the Al-Sahel Hospital in Beirut, allegedly containing $500 million in cash and gold. IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari stated that this bunker, used to finance Hezbollah's attacks on Israel, is directly linked to the group's former leader, Hassan Nasrallah. Although the IDF has conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah-related financial targets, they have not yet targeted the hospital itself. Hagari called on Lebanese authorities to seize the funds to prevent their use for terrorism. The strikes are part of Israel's broader campaign to degrade Hezbollah's financial capabilities and limit its influence. The IDF also highlighted the economic impact on Lebanon, asserting that Hezbollah's activities contribute to the country's financial instability.
