Israeli Forces Expand Operations in Southern Lebanon

Israeli ground forces have intensified their campaign in southern Lebanon, reaching deeper into Lebanese territory and engaging in fierce battles with Hezbollah militants. Recent operations included the capture and subsequent detonation of a strategic hill in the village of Chamaa, alongside heavy airstrikes targeting Hezbollah strongholds in Beirut's Dahiyeh suburb and other areas. The Israeli military reported significant casualties among Hezbollah fighters, while also facing losses of their own, with 42 Israeli soldiers killed since the onset of the invasion.
