Boeing Delivers 150 Jets in Q2 2025
Boeing delivered 60 commercial aircraft in June 2025, its highest monthly total since December 2023, reflecting progress after recent safety crises and production setbacks. The company handed over 150 planes in the second quarter, its best performance since 2018, representing a 27% year-over-year increase and driven by improved factory operations and resumed deliveries to China after a trade dispute ended. Of the June deliveries, 42 were 737 MAX jets, with five aircraft going to Chinese airlines, indicating renewed access to a key market. Boeing also delivered various models including 787s, 777s, and 767s, while its defense division fulfilled orders for helicopters, tankers, and fighter jets. CEO Kelly Ortberg's turnaround efforts are gaining traction, although further regulatory approval is needed to exceed current FAA-imposed production limits. Despite ongoing challenges, Boeing's increased deliveries and new orders highlight its drive to regain financial stability and compete with Airbus.
