Bilt and Walgreens Launch Rewards Partnership

Bilt has launched a partnership with Walgreens to enhance its loyalty rewards program, allowing members to earn points on all purchases made at Walgreens, including prescriptions, without requiring the use of a Bilt credit card. The collaboration introduces an Automatic Healthcare Savings program that enables customers to use their Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) benefits seamlessly while shopping at Walgreens. Bilt's system identifies eligible items for FSA/HSA benefits and allows users to apply these funds at checkout, addressing the issue of unspent FSA dollars that totals around $4 billion annually. This initiative aims to simplify healthcare shopping and maximize the use of tax-advantaged accounts. Additionally, Bilt will soon offer complimentary photo prints as part of the partnership. The move positions Bilt within the healthcare sector, which comprises a significant portion of U.S. consumer spending.
