Aaron publicly compared the Trump administration's immigration crackdown to Nazi purges, which fueled intense backlash from MAGA supporters and Trump administration officials such as DHS border czar Tom Homan and ICE Acting Director Tom Lyon, who called for a DOJ investigation. Feinstein disclosed her marriage to Aaron to the DOJ amid threats and inquiries but maintains she had no involvement with the app. The ICEBlock app, downloaded by hundreds of thousands, has become a focal point of controversy, with Aaron vowing to continue his activism against ICE policies under the current administration.
