Plains Post Office Renamed for Jimmy Rosalynn Carter

The Plains Post Office in Georgia has been officially renamed the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Post Office in honor of the late 39th President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter. The renaming was authorized by federal legislation signed into law in January 2025, introduced by U.S. Rep. Sanford D.
