Pharrell Williams x Adidas Launch VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish Sneakers

Pharrell Williams has launched the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish sneaker in collaboration with Adidas Originals, marking the first major release from his new creative platform, VIRGINIA, which blends his personal roots with futuristic design. The sneaker, inspired by the ethereal form and bioluminescence of jellyfish, features a layered mesh upper, sculptural curves, glow-in-the-dark elements, and an exaggerated midsole that mimics jellyfish gills, with custom branding linking to Pharrell’s home state of Virginia. Released globally in mid to late August 2025, the shoes debuted in an orange colorway exclusively through Adidas' Confirmed app and select retailers, with additional colorways like a green version previewed but not yet released. The launch was supported by a campaign set in a fictional coral reef and coincided with Pharrell’s broader VIRGINIA platform, which offers immersive content and branded merch including music releases and beach-themed products.
