Delta and ITA Airways Resume Multiple Daily Flights to Tel Aviv in 2026

Delta Air Lines is set to expand its service to Tel Aviv in 2026 by resuming flights from its hubs in Atlanta and Boston, with the Atlanta route starting April 15 and operating three times weekly, and the Boston route launching daily on October 24. These flights will utilize Airbus A350-900 and A330-900 aircraft equipped with premium cabins. Meanwhile, Italy's ITA Airways will restart direct flights between Rome Fiumicino and Tel Aviv on January 1, 2026, operating two daily flights with Airbus A321neo aircraft that offer enhanced comfort and sustainability. This route restoration is viewed as strategically important, strengthening commercial and cultural ties between Italy and Israel. The resumption of these services follows a fragile ceasefire brokered by U.S. President Donald Trump after ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. Both Delta and ITA Airways aim to support business, tourism, and community travel between their respective hubs and Tel Aviv, reflecting a broader recovery in air connectivity to Israel after recent suspensions.
