Galatasaray's interest intensified due to an injury to Mauro Icardi, prompting them to seek a partnership between the two strikers. The swift deal was facilitated by intermediary George Gardi, who has previously worked on other transfers between Italian clubs and Galatasaray. With all terms reportedly agreed, Osimhen's medical examination is the final step before the transfer is completed.
