This arrest marks him as the eighth medical student apprehended in the ongoing investigation, which has already seen seven other students from various medical colleges arrested. The CBI has been granted a five-day remand for further questioning, while the investigation continues to focus on the alleged mastermind, Sanjeev Mukhiya, and his connections with other criminal networks.
