Listed on May 24, 2024, the Georgian-style home, built in 1921, features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and luxury amenities such as a home theater and an indoor sports court. The property, which gained fame as the backdrop for Kevin McCallister's antics in the 1991 film, went under contract within a week of being listed. The buyers, who wish to remain private, expressed their excitement about owning a piece of cinematic history. Listing agent Dawn McKenna noted the competitive market led to multiple offers for the beloved home. The previous owners were able to enjoy one last holiday season in the house before the sale was finalized.
