Irish Taoiseach Defies Far-Right Threats, Vows to Keep Normal Routine

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has refused to change his lifestyle despite warnings of a heightened threat to his security from far-right extremists, as well as Garda Commissioner Drew Harris advising him of the higher risk, with the threat extending to other ministers. After several incidents and protests against elected officials, including a riot in Dublin, Varadkar has ruled out entering a security bubble and stated that he wants to continue living a normal life for personal and national reasons.
