Enea Bastianini Wins British GP Double Victory

Enea Bastianini of Ducati achieved a remarkable double victory at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone, winning both the sprint race on Saturday and the main race on Sunday. Jorge Martin, who finished second in both races, has now taken the lead in the championship standings by three points over Francesco Bagnaia, who secured third place in the main race but crashed out in the sprint. Marc Marquez, who crashed in the sprint, managed to finish fourth in the main race. Bastianini's performances marked his first wins since November 2023 and made him the 10th different MotoGP winner at Silverstone. Aleix Espargaro, who initially held pole position, finished third in the sprint and was involved in close battles throughout the weekend.
