Mark Few Not Inducted into Naismith Hall of Fame Class of 2025

Mark Few, head coach of Gonzaga basketball, was not inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in the class of 2025, marking the first year of his eligibility. The inductees included NBA stars Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard, WNBA legends Sue Bird, Maya Moore, and Sylvia Fowles, along with referee Danny Crawford and Miami Heat owner Micky Arison. Despite missing out this year, Few's impressive coaching record includes 25 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and he is celebrated for his contributions to college basketball, including receiving the John R. Wooden 'Legends of Coaching' Award. Few is widely expected to be a strong candidate for future induction, with many in the basketball community believing his eventual inclusion is inevitable due to his significant achievements. He recently completed his 26th season at Gonzaga, leading the team to a 26-9 record and their 27th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. His remarkable career includes over 700 wins and two Naismith Coach of the Year honors.
