Aaron Phypers Sued for Fraud by Cancer Patient's Estate

Aaron Phypers, husband of actress Denise Richards, is facing a lawsuit filed by Rupert Perry, alleging fraud and breach of contract regarding treatments at his Malibu wellness center. Perry claims that Phypers promised a stem cell treatment for his late wife, Elina Katsioula-Beall, who was diagnosed with sarcoma, asserting it had a 98% success rate and offering a 50% refund if it failed. After paying $126,000 for the treatment between July and September 2023, Katsioula-Beall's condition worsened, with tumors growing by 25% by December. Perry alleges that Phypers ignored multiple refund requests after Katsioula-Beall's health declined, ultimately leading to her death in May 2024. The lawsuit demands reimbursement for the promised refund, claiming Phypers' actions were intentional and willful. Phypers has yet to respond publicly to the allegations.
