Donald Excell Charged with Murder of Rita Lambourne in Bexhill

A 48-year-old man, Donald Excell, has been charged with the murder of 58-year-old Rita Lambourne, who was fatally wounded at her home in Bexhill, East Sussex, on February 12. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Lambourne was pronounced dead at the scene. Excell, who remains in custody, is scheduled to appear in Brighton Magistrates' Court. Police are investigating the incident and are seeking public assistance to locate two items believed to be connected to the murder: a navy blue The North Face bag and an axe, which has not yet been found. Two other individuals arrested in relation to the case have been released without further action.
