New England Revolution Signs Leo Campana

The New England Revolution have acquired forward Leo Campana from Inter Miami for a record $2.5 million in General Allocation Money (GAM), with potential incentives raising the total to $3.25 million. Campana, who scored 32 goals in 100 appearances for Miami, will help bolster a Revolution offense that struggled last season, finishing with the lowest goal tally in MLS. The deal includes international roster slots for 2025 and 2026, and Miami retains a sell-on percentage for any future transfer of Campana. Inter Miami's president highlighted Campana's vital contributions during a successful period for the club, including winning their first two titles. This move comes as Miami seeks flexibility in their roster ahead of a busy 2025 season, while New England aims to improve their attacking options. The previous MLS trade record was set at $2 million for Paul Arriola in 2022.
