Portola Festival 2025 Plans San Francisco Lineup Featuring LCD Soundsystem, Christina Aguilera, Chemical Brothers

The Portola music festival, produced by Goldenvoice, will return to San Francisco’s Pier 80 on September 20 and 21, 2025, featuring a diverse lineup headlined by LCD Soundsystem, Christina Aguilera, The Chemical Brothers (DJ set), Dom Dolla, Peggy Gou, The Prodigy, Underworld, and Moby. A key highlight is the Bay Area debut of Despacio, an immersive disco experience designed by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and the Dewaele brothers of 2ManyDJs and Soulwax, who will spin vinyl throughout the weekend. Other notable acts include Anti Up (Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo), Blood Orange, Caribou, The Rapture, Rico Nasty, Kelly Lee Owens, and more, with some artists performing rare or exclusive sets. Tickets go on sale starting May 15, with loyalty passes available a day earlier, and options including single-day and multi-day passes with VIP packages. Festival creator Danny Bell emphasized the event’s focus on personality and concept, distinguishing Portola as a premier electronic festival in the U.S. The inclusion of acts like The Rapture’s first announced show after a long hiatus and The Prodigy’s debut at Portola adds to the festival’s distinctive appeal.
