Gen V Season 2 Premieres With The Boys Stars, New Cast
Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer for the second season of "Gen V," the spin-off series of the hit show "The Boys," set to premiere on September 17, 2025. This season features returning characters such as Starlight (Erin Moriarty), Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell), and The Deep (Chace Crawford), alongside new cast additions like Ethan Slater as Thomas Godolkin, the founder of Godolkin University, and Sean Patrick Thomas as a series regular. The storyline picks up after "The Boys" season 4, with Homelander's authoritarian control over the U.S. government and a brewing conflict between supes and humans, both on and off campus. Central to the plot is a secretive and powerful experimental program called Project Odessa, which Starlight enlists Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair) to stop, leading Marie to re-enroll at Godolkin University under the watch of a new dean, Cipher (Hamish Linklater). The season also addresses the absence of Andre Anderson following the death of actor Chance Perdomo, with storylines reshaped accordingly. Overall, "Gen V" continues to intertwine with "The Boys," exploring the dark consequences of superpowered individuals amid political and social upheaval.
