EA Sports unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated College Football 26 video game, set for release on July 10, featuring the Texas Longhorns prominently. The trailer highlights Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian and quarterback Arch Manning, showcasing detailed gameplay including recent transfer additions Emmett Mosley V and Jack Endries, though neither Sarkisian nor Manning agreed to appear on the game's cover. This year’s cover stars Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams and Ohio State star Jeremiah Smith. EA College Football 26 introduces new features such as cross-play in Dynasty mode, over 160 school-specific chants, expanded transfer portal mechanics, and the inclusion of more than 300 real-life head coaches for the first time in the series. The game also emphasizes enhanced stadium lighting, pregame intros, and a return to high school games in the Road to Glory mode, with Metallica's "Enter Sandman" featured in the trailer's soundtrack.
