Connor Montgomery Charged with Father's Murder in Indiana

Connor Montgomery, a 30-year-old from North Vernon, Indiana, has been arrested and charged with the murder of his 53-year-old father, Robert Montgomery. The incident occurred in Jennings County where police responded to reports of gunfire at a home on East Private Road 450 South. Prior to the shooting, Connor was involved in an altercation with a woman inside the house, during which he fired a gun, and subsequently disabled her vehicle when she attempted to flee. Robert Montgomery was called to the scene before police were notified, and upon arrival, he was shot by Connor. Connor faces multiple charges including murder, criminal confinement with a deadly weapon, and domestic battery in the presence of minors. He is currently held at the Jennings County Jail awaiting his court appearance.
