Dale Crover, drummer of the Melvins, has released a new single titled 'Spoiled Daisies' featuring Ty Segall, ahead of his upcoming album 'Glossolalia,' set to drop on September 13th via Joyful Noise Recordings. The song explores the theme of a psychedelic mushroom trip gone awry, leading to a spiritual exile from the Garden of Eden, complemented by Segall's powerful guitar solo. Crover has previously unveiled singles 'Doug Yuletide' and 'I Quit,' the latter featuring guitar work from Kim Thayil of Soundgarden. With notable contributions from artists like Tom Waits and Rob Crow, 'Glossolalia' showcases Crover's evolving artistry as a solo musician. He describes his solo venture as 'extra credit,' yet the album promises a robust artistic vision. Crover is also gearing up for a series of California shows before joining Redd Kross for their UK/European tour.
