RFK Racing Appoints Chip Bowers as Team President

RFK Racing has appointed Chip Bowers as its new team president, effective September 22, replacing Steve Newmark who left to become the athletic director at the University of North Carolina. Bowers, a North Carolina native with nearly three decades of experience in business operations, sales, and marketing across NBA, WNBA, and MLB teams, expressed enthusiasm about joining a premier NASCAR team and leading it to new heights. His focus will be on driving innovation, scaling the business for sustained growth, strengthening long-term corporate partnerships, and enhancing the fan experience. The team hopes his fresh perspective and proven track record will help RFK Racing build on its momentum and establish itself as a thought leader and preeminent brand in the industry. RFK Racing currently fields three full-time NASCAR Cup Series cars and has a storied history with 143 career wins and two Cup titles.
