HPE Launches ProLiant Gen12 Servers with AI, Security Features

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has launched its ProLiant Compute Gen12 servers, featuring eight new models equipped with Intel Xeon 6 processors, aimed at enhancing performance for data-intensive workloads, AI applications, and edge computing. These servers incorporate advanced security measures, such as the HPE iLO 7 with secure enclave technology, which is designed to protect against firmware attacks and is quantum computing-resistant, boasting a FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification. The new generation focuses on sustainability, offering significant energy savings and the option for Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) to optimize data center cooling. HPE's AI-driven management capabilities will enhance operational efficiency, allowing organizations to better predict and manage energy consumption. As enterprises increasingly face challenges related to edge computing and AI, the Gen12 servers are engineered to meet these evolving demands. The servers are set to be available in various configurations to suit diverse business needs, with some models expected to launch in Q1 2025.
