Mamelodi Sundowns Appoint Miguel Cardoso as Coach

Mamelodi Sundowns have appointed Miguel Cardoso as their new head coach following the dismissal of Manqoba Mngqithi due to poor results, particularly in the CAF Champions League. Cardoso, who previously managed Tunisian club Esperance and led them to defeat Sundowns in last season's semifinals, aims to restore the club's success and follow in the footsteps of former coach Pitso Mosimane. The coaching reshuffle comes as Sundowns draw their first two matches in the Champions League group phase and suffered a loss in the South African League Cup final.
