Mike Jeffries, former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, is facing renewed allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse at sex events held globally. Eight additional men have come forward with claims of being drugged, coerced, and injected with liquid Viagra at these events, which occurred from 2009 to 2015. Witnesses described scenarios where Jeffries and his partner, Matthew Smith, exploited young men, with some being promised modeling opportunities in exchange for participation. Jeffries and Smith have denied all allegations, and a middleman involved in the events claimed the men participated voluntarily. Abercrombie & Fitch has initiated an independent investigation and maintained that the current board was unaware of the allegations. The FBI has also launched an investigation following the BBC's initial exposé.
