China's Industrial Robot Production Surges 30% in 2025 Amid Global Automation Drive

China's industrial robotics sector has experienced a significant surge in production and revenue in 2025, with 595,000 industrial robotic arms produced in the first nine months, surpassing all of 2024's output. This growth is driven by strong demand from key manufacturing sectors such as automotive, electronics, and new energy, alongside advancements in high-performance industrial robots and smart integration with artificial intelligence. China now operates more industrial robots than the rest of the world combined and accounts for over half of new global robot installations, solidifying its position as the largest market for the 12th consecutive year.
