Multiple Stabbings in US, UK and Australia

Multiple fatal and serious stabbings were reported over the weekend in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. In Royal Oak, Michigan, an 83-year-old man was found stabbed in his home and a 35-year-old woman who was a guest was detained after a brief foot chase and remained in custody as charges were pending. In Miami‑Dade County’s Liberty City area, a man stabbed in the early hours was taken to Ryder Trauma Center and later died; authorities released no suspect information. In Islington, London, a 22-year-old man self-presented at hospital with wounds described as life-changing (not life-threatening) and a 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. In Hobart’s Salamanca precinct, an altercation in a Morrison Street carpark left a 20‑year‑old dead and a 23‑year‑old injured; a 20‑year‑old suspect is in custody as police seek others.
