Man shot dead in Vancouver parking lot; police seek two suspects in red Lexus

A man was found dead of a gunshot wound in the front seat of a vehicle Sunday morning in the parking lot of an apartment complex in northeast Vancouver, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies responded at about 7:49 a.m. (shortly before 8) after reports of shots fired and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses reported two masked Black men moving between the victim’s vehicle and a dark red Lexus ES 350 with a shattered rear window, rear-end damage and a broken taillight. The suspects fled south on I‑5 into Portland and the Lexus was last seen taking Exit 307; the two individuals are described as possibly in their early 20s and should be considered armed and dangerous. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 911.
