Amy Slaton Halterman, star of TLC's '1,000-Lb. Sisters,' was arrested on Labor Day at the Tennessee Safari Park after being bitten by a camel. Authorities discovered psychedelic mushrooms and marijuana in her vehicle, leading to charges of illegal possession of Schedule I and Schedule VI drugs and two counts of child endangerment. Her companion, Brian Scott Lovvorn, faced the same charges. Halterman's children, Gage and Glenn, were in the car at the time of the arrest and were taken into custody by family members. Both Halterman and Lovvorn were released on a $10,000 bond each. The Department of Children and Family Services is involved in the ongoing investigation regarding the children's placement.
