Autauga County Father Arrested Child Abuse Hickory Man Charged Online Child Exploitation

Two men have been arrested in separate cases involving crimes against children. In Autauga County, Alabama, Mario Ronell Ford-Johnson was arrested for aggravated child abuse after intentionally inflicting serious injuries on his two-year-old child and also faces domestic violence charges related to an attempted strangulation of his girlfriend. Meanwhile, in Hickory, North Carolina, 59-year-old Dale Allen Parker was arrested following a cyber tip investigation and charged with ten counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Parker remains held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled for a court appearance on August 11, 2025. Authorities in Catawba County emphasized their commitment to identifying and arresting individuals who use the internet to exploit children and encourage the public to report suspicious online activity through confidential tip lines.
