Army Specialist Charged in Sergeant's Murder

Army Specialist Wooster Rancy, 21, has been charged with the murder of Sgt. Sarah Roque, 23, at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Roque's body was discovered in a dumpster on the base on October 21, a day after she was reported missing. Rancy, originally from North Miami, Florida, is also charged with obstruction of justice and is currently in pretrial confinement. Both soldiers served in the 5th Engineer Battalion, but authorities have not disclosed any potential motive or relationship between them. The investigation is ongoing under the Department of Army Criminal Investigation Division. Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb has ordered flags in Noble County to be flown at half-staff in honor of Roque.
