Massachusetts Man Charged with Roommate Murder

Richard Lombardi, 65, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after allegedly killing his 80-year-old roommate Frank Griswold during a Thanksgiving meal dispute in Marshfield, Massachusetts. Lombardi claims the incident was accidental, stating he became upset when Griswold was 'too close' to the food he was preparing because Griswold 'often sneezes.' After a confrontation, Lombardi reportedly shoved Griswold, who fell and sustained fatal injuries. Griswold was found unconscious in a pool of blood, and despite calling 911, he was pronounced dead shortly after. Lombardi has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail, with a court appearance scheduled for December 4. The two men had been friends for over 30 years and lived together for more than 20 years.
