Lively, Baldoni Deposed in 'It Ends With Us' Case

Multiple cast and crew from the 2024 film It Ends With Us — including author Colleen Hoover, costars Jenny Slate and Isabela Ferrer, and both Blake Lively and director Justin Baldoni — have been deposed as part of ongoing litigation over the film’s production. Other witnesses questioned included members of Lively’s and Baldoni’s professional teams (publicist Leslie Sloane, agent Warren Zavala, makeup artist Vivian Baker) and Baldoni’s associates (producer Jamey Heath, publicist Jennifer Abel, crisis PR Melissa Nathan, Steve Sarowitz and Jed Wallace). Baldoni’s former agent Danny Greenberg described what he called “extortion‑like behavior” by Lively during filming but later said he did not mean criminal extortion. The dispute began in December 2024 when Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, a hostile work environment and an alleged smear campaign; Baldoni denies the allegations and his counterclaims were dismissed. Discovery closed on October 10, a hearing is set for December 16, and Lively’s remaining lawsuit is scheduled for trial in March 2026.
