Garrett Warns Rodgers Ahead of Steelers Debut
Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett playfully warned new Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers that he hopes to add him to his Halloween 'graveyard' of quarterbacks he’s sacked. Rodgers joined the Steelers on a one-year, $13.65 million deal after being released by the New York Jets and will face Garrett and other elite AFC North defenders twice this season. Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, has a strong track record against Pittsburgh with 13 sacks in 14 games and recently signed a $160 million contract. Rodgers, who is set to turn 42 this season and is returning from significant injuries, faces a challenging transition to a division known for its fierce pass rush. The highly anticipated first meeting between the Browns and Steelers is scheduled for October 12 in Pittsburgh. Both teams are expected to contend for playoff spots in a competitive AFC North.
