Southport NC Bar Shooting Kills Three, Injures Eight Suspect Arrested

A mass shooting at the American Fish Company in Southport, North Carolina, resulted in three deaths and eight injuries. The suspect, Nigel Edge, 39, used a modified AR-style rifle with a silencer and fled the scene by boat along the Intracoastal Waterway before being arrested by the US Coast Guard at Oak Island. Edge faces multiple charges, including three counts of first-degree murder, five counts of attempted first-degree murder, and five counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
