Gophers Men's Hockey Defeats Bemidji State 5-3

The No. 3 ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers men's hockey team continued their impressive run with a 5-3 victory over Bemidji State, marking their ninth consecutive win. The Gophers built an early lead with goals from Brodie Ziemer and Brody Lamb, while Oliver Moore and John Mittelstadt also contributed to the scoring. Despite a strong effort from Bemidji State, including a goal that cut the deficit to 4-3 late in the third period, Lamb sealed the win with an empty-net goal. Minnesota's only loss this season came in an overtime game against Omaha, and they have outscored opponents significantly. Star player Jimmy Snuggerud, who earned his fourth Big Ten First Star of the Week honor, played a pivotal role in the team's success. The teams will face off again in a rematch in Bemidji on Saturday.
