Texans' Tank Dell Remains on PUP, Expected to Miss Season

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell is recovering from a severe knee injury sustained late in the 2024 season, which involved a dislocated kneecap and tears to his ACL, MCL, LCL, and meniscus. He has undergone multiple surgeries, including one as recently as this summer, and remains on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list at the start of training camp. While Dell is showing significant progress in mobility and flexibility, the Texans expect him to likely begin the 2025 season on injured reserve and possibly miss the entire year to prioritize his long-term career health. Texans general manager Nick Caserio emphasized that there is no set timetable for Dell's return, although he continues to work hard and participate in off-field activities.
