Three Charged with Murder in Body Burning Case, Colorado

Three individuals have been charged in connection with the murder of Gerardo Hernandez-Lucio, whose body was found burning under a bridge at the Stevens Gulch Picnic Area in Larimer County, Colorado. Investigators determined Hernandez-Lucio was fatally shot in Weld County several days before his body was transported and set on fire in Larimer County. Isaac Valdez-Salvador faces multiple felony charges including first-degree murder and is suspected to have shot the victim, while Juana Espino is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy, allegedly involved in the purchase of the murder weapon. Monica Lopez-Silva is charged as an accessory and with tampering with evidence.
