Paddington The Musical Opens November 2024 in London

Paddington The Musical, based on Michael Bond's beloved books and film series, will premiere at London's Savoy Theatre on November 1, 2024. The production features original music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher and a script by Jessica Swale, with direction by Luke Sheppard. Producers Sonia Friedman, StudioCanal, and Eliza Lumley lead the project, aiming to highlight themes of hope, kindness, and acceptance through Paddington's story as he finds a new home with the Brown family in London. Ellen Kane provides choreography, with dynamic dance numbers anticipated, possibly including a chorus of dancing bears. Priority ticket booking begins May 13, followed by general sales on May 15. The musical extends the Paddington franchise, already popular through books, television, and three major films.
