Inothewayurthinkin expects Gold Cup entry pending ground conditions
Inothewayurthinkin, a leading contender for the upcoming Cheltenham Gold Cup, is expected to be supplemented for the race, dependent on suitable soft ground conditions. The horse, trained by Gavin Cromwell and owned by JP McManus, previously won the Kim Muir at the Cheltenham Festival and has shown improvement this season, finishing fourth in the Irish Gold Cup. Racing manager Frank Berry indicated a £25,000 supplement would be paid to include him in the Gold Cup field. Alongside Inothewayurthinkin, Corbetts Cross is also slated to compete, while another McManus horse, Fact To File, may shift to the Ryanair Chase instead. The final decision on participation will be influenced by ground conditions leading up to the race. The supplementary stage for the Gold Cup is set for Saturday, and connections are optimistic about both horses' chances.
