Although the Riviera Country Club remains undamaged, its surrounding area has been significantly affected, leading to infrastructure challenges and emergency services being stretched thin. The tour, in collaboration with tournament host Tiger Woods, decided to prioritize community safety and the ongoing relief efforts. Potential new locations include La Quinta and other sites already part of the West Coast Swing. Despite the relocation, the PGA Tour is committed to supporting the Los Angeles community and has encouraged fans to contribute to relief efforts.
