William Sawalich Joins NASCAR Xfinity Series

Joe Gibbs Racing has announced that 18-year-old William Sawalich will drive the No. 18 Toyota GR Supra full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the 2025 season, after a successful stint in the ARCA Menards Series where he won two championships and 18 races. Sawalich is excited to make this leap, acknowledging the challenges ahead in a new series while emphasizing his growth as a driver over the past two years. His primary sponsorship will come from Starkey / SoundGear, which has supported him throughout his racing career. The 2025 Xfinity Series season is set to showcase a plethora of young talent, including Sawalich's rival Connor Zilisch, creating an exciting competitive landscape. As he prepares for his debut this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Sawalich joins a strong JGR lineup that includes returning driver Brandon Jones and Craftsman Truck Series contender Taylor Gray.
