Cherry Blossoms Near Peak Bloom in DC, NYC Exhibits First Blooms

The cherry blossom season is underway in both New York City and Washington, D.C. In NYC, the first cherry blossoms were spotted near Central Park’s Great Lawn, a sign that spring is slowly approaching. Nearby locations like Kenwood in Bethesda are expected to see peak bloom shortly after the Tidal Basin's, while Brookside Gardens anticipates blooms in about two weeks. Both cities celebrate the beauty of these blossoms, attracting thousands of visitors each year.
