Shoplifter Banned From Wigs in Gloucester

Hannah Roberts, a 33-year-old prolific shoplifter from Gloucester, has been banned from wearing wigs as part of a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) imposed by Cheltenham Magistrates' Court. The court found that Roberts had repeatedly violated a previous ban under the City Safe Scheme, which prohibited her from entering member shops. Despite her attempts to disguise herself with wigs, her distinctive neck tattoo made her easily identifiable to store staff. Under the new order, she is barred from entering Gloucester city center and any participating shops and is prohibited from wearing any hairpieces that alter her appearance. Police officials emphasized the ongoing challenges posed by persistent shoplifting, highlighting Roberts as a top offender. They plan to continue supporting local businesses by targeting shoplifters and securing further legal actions where necessary.
