Severe Storms Threaten Southeast Texas with Hail, Winds
Severe weather is expected across parts of Texas, with multiple warnings issued for thunderstorms and the potential for damaging winds and large hail. KHOU 11 has alerted southeast Texas for severe storms from 9 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday, particularly affecting regions north of Houston. The National Weather Service has also issued warnings for central Texas, where storms may produce winds of up to 60 mph and hail. A cold front is approaching, leading to a level 2 risk of severe weather in eastern Texas, where damaging winds and hail are the primary threats, though tornadoes could also occur in some areas. Forecasters predict that the most intense storm activity will occur late Sunday night into early Monday morning. Following the storms, warmer temperatures and calmer conditions are anticipated through midweek.
