Toronto Film Festival Announces Full 2024 Lineup

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2024 will feature a packed lineup with 276 films, including the North American premiere of Francis Ford Coppola’s controversial sci-fi epic 'Megalopolis' amid allegations of inappropriate behavior by Coppola on set. Major additions to the festival include Luca Guadagnino’s 'Queer' starring Daniel Craig, Pedro Almodóvar’s English-language debut 'The Room Next Door' with Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton, and Marianne Elliott’s 'The Salt Path' featuring Gillian Anderson. TIFF will also host special screenings and conversations with prominent figures like Cate Blanchett, Zoe Saldana, and Steven Soderbergh. The festival opens on September 5 with David Gordon Green’s 'Nutcrackers' and closes on September 15 with Rebel Wilson’s directorial debut 'The Deb'. The event will also include retrospectives and informal discussions with notable filmmakers and industry experts.
