Woman Hospitalized After Assault in Newbridge

A woman has been hospitalized with serious injuries following an assault in St Conleth's Car Park, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, between 11pm on December 3rd and 8.15am on December 4th. Emergency services found her unresponsive shortly after 8am and she was taken to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment. An incident room has been established at Newbridge Garda Station, and a Senior Investigating Officer has been appointed, although no arrests have been made yet. Gardaí are appealing for information, particularly from anyone who was in the area during the specified timeframe, and are seeking mobile phone or dash cam footage. Information can be reported to Newbridge Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line. The investigation is ongoing.
