Flacco Throws 470 Yards in Loss

Despite a sprained AC joint, Bengals veteran Joe Flacco started and played against the Chicago Bears, throwing for a career-high 470 yards. Cincinnati lost 47–42 to the Bears when Caleb Williams threw a 58-yard game-winning touchdown. Flacco had been cleared for game action after practicing this week; Jake Browning served as the primary backup and Sean Clifford was the emergency third quarterback.
