Six Children, Bus Driver Injured in Todd County Crash
Two separate school bus crashes occurred on Monday, one in Todd County, Kentucky, and another in Spencer Township, Michigan, resulting in minor injuries to students and drivers. In Todd County, a North Todd Elementary School bus collided with a truck hauling a trailer on U.S. 68 after the bus driver pulled out in heavy fog; six children, the bus driver, and the truck driver were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. First responders from multiple agencies attended the scene, and the road was expected to remain closed for some time. In Spencer Township, a Greenville Public Schools bus crashed into a tree after the driver suffered a medical emergency, leading to injuries for six high school and middle school students and the driver. One student and the driver were taken to a hospital, while other students received medical care from their parents or remained at the scene. Both incidents highlight the importance of first responders and community members in providing aid during emergencies.
